This mid-size sedan is quite interestingly designed with roomy interiors, spacious up front, and better legroom than its competitors.

The 2020 Kia Optima has lots of added features like adaptive cruise control, trimmed leather seats, and multiple charging ports for all kinds of devices.

This attractively styled new 2020 Kia Optima family Sedan offers multiple Engines from normal to Hybrid variants. The Engine platform starts with the regular non-turbo-charged four-cylinder variant with six-speed automatic transmission to the much quicker turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinder variant with a seven-speed transmission. In addition, Kia has added another turbocharged variant, the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, much stronger and quieter drive while cruising on the freeway or the highway. Two upgraded Hybrid variants for those concerned about the fossil-fuel consumption has been ushered in with a conventional Hybrid & the other with the Plug-in with an EPA Quoted 29 Miles of an EV range or the plug-in Hybrid.

The Gas-powered EX variant with its zestful Turbocharged Engine and equally impressive automatic transmission is highly recommended.

Fuel Economy – Kia Optima Miles Per Gallon

The Kia Optima EX and the EX Premium with the turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, which can generate around 178 HP is estimated to give a modest fuel economy of 27 miles per gallon on a city ride to 37 MPG on the highway, generating 178 HP.

The Kia Optima LX & the Optima S, both with 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engines have a fuel efficiency of about 25 MPG on a city drive to 35 MPG on highways for the former & 24 MPG on a city drive to 32 MPG on highways for the latter, a slight dip in the fuel efficiency but can generate a higher horsepower of 185.

To ensure longer travel for car enthusiasts, the 2020 Kia Optima has been provided with a much bigger 18.5-gallon fuel tank, making the Kia Optima MPG better than many other cars in its range.
